What Is a Currency Calculator?
A currency calculator converts an amount from one currency to another using an exchange rate. Because this site is fully static and runs offline in your browser, it cannot fetch live market rates — so the calculator lets you enter the rate yourself, and pre-fills an editable reference rate for each currency pair so you can start from a sensible default.
The reference rates shown are approximate, static values meant as starting points only. They are not live and will drift from the real market over time. For an up-to-date conversion, type in the rate your bank, card issuer or the exchange market quotes today.
How the Conversion Works
The exchange rate field is always labelled "Exchange rate used" so you can see exactly which rate produced the result. If you convert $100 USD → EUR at 0.92, the result is €92.00.
