What Is a Volume Calculator?

A volume calculator finds how much space a three-dimensional shape occupies, measured in cubic units. It is used for shipping and storage planning, concrete and liquid quantities, aquarium sizing and geometry practice.

How do I calculate the volume of a cylinder?

Multiply the area of the circular base (πr²) by the height. A cylinder with radius 3 and height 5 has volume 45π ≈ 141.4 cubic units.

How do I find the volume of a sphere?

Use V = 4/3 × π × r³. A sphere of radius 3 has volume 36π ≈ 113.1 cubic units.
